Small but Mighty: Procuring a Synology NAS SSD for My Mini-Micro-Server Dream
In the world of home labs, size often matters—but not in the way you might think. Compact, efficient, and powerful setups are the holy grail for enthusiasts like me. Recently, I embarked on a journey to procure a Synology NAS SSD, a key piece in my plan to integrate it with a mini-micro-server. The result? A setup that’s as small as it is mighty.

- Optimizing Performance: The SSD cache feature was a game-changer, significantly improving read/write speeds and overall efficiency. I was able to run my proxmox VMs directly from the NAS as long as my network was strong enough. I do run in to errors on that, which will come in a future post!
